We cannot really use the term “graduation,” but the events that take place at the end of the school year on both campuses have all the attributes for those who are finishing their schooling, either at the primary or high school level. At the Côte-Vertu campus, a dance party gets the ball rolling on June 2 at 5:30 pm in the gym. This is followed by an official ceremony during school hours in the morning of June 14. There, the graduates, who wear gowns for the occasion, receive a certificate of academic success. A similar activity also takes place on June 13 at the Ouimet campus. Here, it is not as much a “goodbye,” as a “see you later” that these graduates receive, since we will probably see them again at the Côte-Vertu campus next year.
