The Peter Hall School Foundation was created in December 2000 and began its philanthropic activities in 2001.
The Foundation was established to help expand the programs and activities offered at Peter Hall School and to help consolidate its financial structure. The Foundation supports the School’s educational, recreational, sports and cultural activities.
The Foundation receives invaluable support from numerous volunteers from the business sector, particularly for its two annual fundraising activities: a wine and cheese event in the spring and a golf tournament in the fall. These volunteers also contribute to the Foundation’s fundraising campaigns.
The Foundation also benefits from numerous staff volunteers and members of their families. These generous individuals have supported our cause since the Foundation first began its activities in 2001.
The Foundation is managed by a board of trustees, composed of seven volunteer members, who ensure that the Foundation achieves its goals and continues to develop.
The Peter Hall School Foundation has raised over $2,135,000 for Peter Hall School to date.* And with the second major fundraising campaign ending successfully at the end of 2017, the Foundation will add $2.5 million for the expansion of the Côte-Vertu Campus, which is dedicated for students ages 12 to 21.
All this has been made possible thanks to the involvement and generosity of various foundations, corporations, employee funds, religious communities, parents, employees and individuals who share our vision to provide outstanding educational tools in a high-quality learning environment.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

The Peter Hall School Foundation was established by Peter Hall School to benefit its students.
The Foundation supports the School’s work by reinforcing various educational initiatives aimed at helping students with intellectual disabilities gain important skills and independence.
The Foundation also supports the School’s pedagogical mission by developing projects and purchasing specialized furniture and equipment (educational, recreational, sports and cultural) needed to help students achieve goals set by personnel.
The Foundation provides the School with real estate, infrastructure or the financial means necessary for the construction, renovation and maintenance of its campuses.
Finally, the Foundation supports all educational actions taken on behalf of all present and former students as well as all of our educational personnel.
The Peter Hall School Foundation: Important Major Campaigns!
The Peter Hall School Foundation has carried out two major campaigns to date:
Our first campaign, which was held from 2005 to 2009, aimed to finance the acquisition and renovation of the Côte-Vertu Campus for students aged 12 to 21.
We exceeded our goal of $1 million by raising $1,365,000!
Our second campaign, which was held from 2012 to 2017, aimed to finance the expansion of our Côte-Vertu Campus, interior renovation and exterior landscaping, and other work at the Ouimet Campus.
This time, we exceeded our goal of $2.5 million by raising $2,571,250!
We are now preparing a third major fundraising campaign, which will take place over a three-year period. Our goal is to raise $1.5 million to finance the purchase of the land adjacent to the Côte-Vertu Campus and to cover costs associated with works initiated thanks to our second fundraising campaign.
