Physiotherapist – Full-time replacement position

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Member in good standing of the OPPQ
• Bilingual
• Experience with the clientele would be an asset

RESPONSABILITIES:

• Assess the student’s overall level of motor functioning
• Pay particular attention to the development of walking, independence in transfers and
  mobility, and musculoskeletal integrity
• Ensure the follow-up and adjustment of equipment to accommodate the student’s growth
  (e.g., walker, standing frame, adapted tricycle, orthotics)
• In collaboration with the occupational therapist, organize positioning and wheelchair
  repair clinics, as well as orthotics clinics, in partnership with two rehabilitation centers
• Together with the occupational therapist, train school staff on the principles of handling,
  mobility, and student transfers within the school setting
