Ouimet Campus

Welcome to Ouimet campus,

Our campus is located in the Saint-Laurent borough of Montreal and welcomes students from the island of Montreal as well as the off-island suburbs.

Ouimet campus has both French and English classes and the students range from 4 to 21 years of age. There are presently 8 French classes and 19 English classes of which are, preschool, primary, and secondary level students, for a total of 245 students.

Our students have various academic classroom activities adapted to their functional level. They also benefit from a variety of activity rooms which promote learning. These are the therapeutic pool, the Snoezelen room, the symbolic room, the playroom, the psychomotor room, the computer lab, just to name a few.

The students are in close proximity to different community facilities where they can continue their learning. They can visit a library within walking distance or cross the street to visit a grocery store to purchase items to make a lunch as well as have a picnic at the park, while enjoying the recreational activities.

Our school team consists of principal and a vice principal, special education teachers, resource teachers, as well as complementary professional services such as, psychology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech therapy. We also have technicians in special education, attendants to handicapped students, a nurse, an auxiliary nurse, a school secretary and an office clerk.

The collaboration within the team is dedicated to using their expertise to bring out the most in the students and to help them grow to be independent and autonomous.

Our parent group also plays an active role in promoting different activities for the students and could be seen volunteering during the students’ special festivities period. Here at Peter Hall School we are not just a school, we are a family!
